Privacy Policy

• Account details — your email address, to create your account and send your digest, and your name if you share it.
• Your preferences — the job-search criteria you set and the companies you choose to watch.
• Product activity — your thumbs-up/down feedback on matches, which listings you open from your digest or dashboard, and the basic usage needed to run and improve the service.
• Messages to the assistant — what you type to the Kishmish assistant and the criteria builder, so they can reply and draft your criteria.
• Feedback you send us — your message, your email address, and the assistant conversation if you choose to attach it. It’s stored and emailed to our team so we can reply.
• Connected apps — if you connect Kishmish to ChatGPT, the requests ChatGPT sends to Kishmish for you (for example “list my matches”, or new criteria text you asked it to save) and a sign-in token that identifies your Kishmish account. We don’t receive your ChatGPT conversations.
• Payment — if you subscribe, payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details, only your subscription status.

We use your data solely to provide the service: fetch new postings from companies’ public careers pages, score them against your criteria using AI models, run the assistant that helps you set up, email you your digest, answer your feedback, and manage your account and subscription.

We rely on a small set of providers to run Kishmish:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Vercel — hosting
• Resend — email delivery
• Anthropic — AI scoring of job postings against your criteria, plus the assistant and criteria builder
• Stripe — payment processing
• Cloudflare — DNS and email routing

Each processes data only as needed to provide their part of the service.

Your criteria and the public text of job postings are sent to AI models to judge whether a role fits you. When you use the assistant or the criteria builder, your messages and your current companies, criteria and settings are sent to AI models to write the replies and drafts. All of this is used only to provide those features — it is not used to train models.

When you ask ChatGPT to use Kishmish, the information it asks for (your matches, watched companies, criteria and digest settings) is sent to ChatGPT so it can answer you. OpenAI handles it under its own privacy policy. Kishmish can only reach your account after you sign in and approve the connection.

Job links shown in ChatGPT go straight to the posting; we don’t record which ones you open. You can disconnect ChatGPT at any time in Settings → Connected apps. ChatGPT can’t renew its access after that, and any access it already had expires within an hour.

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists, so your setup and match history are there if you pause or come back later.

You can delete your account at any time in Settings, or email us and we’ll do it for you. Deleting it immediately and permanently removes your account, criteria, watch list, matches and feedback, and disconnects any connected apps, and cancels your subscription if you have one. Feedback you sent is deleted from our database too; copies already emailed to our team stay in our support inbox. Records of which listings you opened are kept only in anonymous form, no longer linked to you. Stripe keeps payment records for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Most of this is self-serve in the dashboard; for anything else, email hello@kishmish.app. If you are in the UK or EU, you have rights under UK/EU data-protection law, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We don’t use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

We may update this policy from time to time; we’ll change the date above when we do.
